So we decided it was about time for me to "get in touch with my Mexicanity" and we decided to throw a Dia de la Independencia party (Sep 16). We made lots of tacos dorados (flautas), quesadillas, sopes, mole, frijoles refritos, horchata... I mean, we went all out!! We even had a pinata! Some good friends came over to help us eat all that good food and we had a blast! We ate more than our fill and then ate some more!! Here are some pictures and video of the evening . Viva Mexico!!

this is such a great blog! Lauren and I spent all morning catching up! You all look so good and we miss your smiles!
Hey, I might not be a blogger yet, but I somehow found your blog. We miss you guys! It was fun seeing pictures of how grown up your kids are. I loved the Copeley Forever. Believe me, the real world isn't as fun. Enjoy the student life. Drop me a line sometime.

I wish that we would have been able to get together for one of these parties! We miss you guys!
A secret blog that you weren't even going to tell me about. Thanks a lot Sarah. I hope you are doing well in C-Ville. We miss the weekly barbeque, especially all the pasta salad. Hope you are enjoying fall on the East Coast.
Now I at least have an update on your life!! I thought you'd disappeared off the face of the Earth. I'm glad things are going well. Your kids are as beautiful as ever! We miss those Cville days!!
