We finally did it. After four years of telling everyone how bad we wanted to go on a Caribbean vacation and how little money we had to do it we quit whining and just did it. WE HAD SO MUCH FUN! Should've done it years ago. We figured it was now or not-for-another-2-years with baby number three now well underway. So we sent Elli and Ethan to AuntKT's, recruited Grandma's help (thank you so much to both of you) and embarked on a 5 day cruise (Miami-Cozumel-Cayman-Miami) with NCL.
It was a blast. For starters, there was so much free food (and most of it pretty tasty) my digestive system is still trying to catch up from all that overeating! And there were so many fun things to do on that ridiculously large ship it was in fact, ridiculously awesome! And then we actually had to get off the ship to go to even cooler places... I mean, it doesn't get better than that. Well, enough writing, let's get to the pictures.
Dressing up for night out in the ship. Good eats and lots of dancing!!
I told you... one of our favorite parts of the trip was the FREE FOOD! You have to ask Sarah how we managed to get this delicious carne asada buffet for free!
"Miles away from the ordinary" my modest attempt at a Corona commercial (top). At left, I ensured myself at least 28 years of good luck after kissing this bad boy a few too many times at Sting Ray City, Cayman Is.
A lovely sunset in the Cayman Islands
I won't post the snorkeling pictures or video since they contain pretty graphic images of me (Sergio) puking over the side of the small boat that took us out to the reef!! My hat's off to all pregnant women (particularly Cambrie, Erin and Hayley) who can put up with months or weeks of this kinda stuff during pregnancies. Rest assured, you ARE going to heaven.
Now that you are all excited about cruising and are leaving this blog to book yours, make sure you give them my name so I can get the $100 credit they offer for each referral (you really though I stayed up this late to write this entry for nuthin'). Just kidding!
We miss you all,
Us
